"I was saved and I loved God but I had severe depression. Two very dear friends of mine invited me to a praise and worship service. It was there that God caught me and I feel deeply in love with Him. I was single and had wanted so badly to be married. I now see that that doesn't matter for God is all I need. 6 months later, I met my wonderful husband at my church and we have been married for 9 years. "In 2006 I have a brain infection called "Encyfilitis." The infection was on the left side of my brain and doctors gave me a 20% chance of survival, but Jesus the Almight gave me 100% chance of survival. Doctors were very suprised that I learned how to work and talk again. The only problem I had was names and numbers. My favorite verse in the Bible is Psalms 91, I even have it on my license plate. I have recited it everyday for the past 6 years. After my sickness I forgot everything but I never forgot Psalms 91! "(Ashley, Concord VA)

"I was in a horrible car accident 2 years ago in which I was not expected to live by the doctors or the emergency workers or my family members. I had been out drinking the night of the accident and suffered severe head and brain injuries. But now after the accident I have stopped drinking and participating in other sinful behavior. I was saved 6 months later and now teach a Sunday School at my church. God really made something wonderful happen out of something so horrible. "I found a sizable lump in my breast and had it checked and needed a biopsy. I prayed about it and had my church family and friends praying and when I went for the biopsy the lump was no where to be found. The technician was puzzled at the absence of it. "I was saved by my bed in 1979. The Lord came and saved my soul. It took the break-up of my marriage to come to the Lord. My wife was in a Jehovah Witness. But, God helped me through it all. I am a Deacon in my Church and never re-married. The Lord has helped me raise two children they are 38 and 36 now. Pray for them, they do go to Church some and say they know the Lord. "I was raised Catholic, in church all my life, but without a personal realtionship with Jesus or the assurance of salvation. As a teenager and young adult I took part in drinking, marijuana and pre-marital/immoral relationships. Early in my marriage I began attending a United Methodist Church and eventually in 1986 I attended an Upper Room Walk to Emmaus Renewal weekend. I fell in love with Jesus that weekend. He has been gracious to spare me the earthly consequences of all my sins and help me grow in Him for 20 plus years. My husband and I have been privileged to raise our two daughters in the Lord.
