How to Pray for a Soldier

How to Pray for a soldier:

Pray for wisdom, protection and good health for General David Petraues and Ambassador Ryan Crocker. For the leaders of the Iraqi government to work together quickly (unlike republicans and democrats). For the military and contractors in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.
How to encourage and support a soldier:
- Get the name of a soldier from folks at church, friends, work, etc.
- Find out their wants (military provides for their needs)
  - Are they at a post where they get hot meals 3 times a day
  - what kind of razor blades do they use (be specific)
  - Send a list of DVDs and ask them to check 6 or 7 they would like. Buy and mail one a month
- Find out their birthday and send a birthday card
- Find out if single, married, kids, and birthdays, anniversaries. Send them cards to mail back
- Send them a picture of your family
- Mail one package every month or so
