Most people start in radio then get a "real" job. I'm just backward - I was a corporate trainer for Verizon (back when they were GTE) and I left that to go into radio. I can honestly say I love my job! Born and raised in Southwestern Virginia – Saltville. Met my husband, Greg in Chilhowie (home of the junkyard McDonalds – you may have driven by it on I-81.)

Birthday: Feb 9 and the year shall remain a mystery.

Your Family: My wonderful husband Greg and I have been married for almost 20 years! We have 4 beautiful kids. All of whom have fur. 2 collies, Pammy and Sage and 2 cats, Girlfriend and Mr. Fuzz. We are very thankful for the people who invented sticky rollers.

Favorite Scripture: Galatians 2:16 “…knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.”

Favorite Food: My Mom’s 7 Layer Cookies!

Favorite Sports Team: Go Vols! University of Tennessee. The only 2 REAL sports – college football and NASCAR. For NASCAR, my favorite team would be Michael Waltrip Racing – I know, I’m a dreamer.

Favorite Spirit FM Artist / Song: Wow, there are so many. Right now I’m digging December Radio and “Find You Waiting.”

Favorite Author: Ward Tanneberg – The book “Vanished” is awesome!

Favorite Movie: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

Testimony: I was one of those people who tried to make God’s gift of salvation through His son, Jesus Christ, too complicated. When I was 18, I was at a prayer group at Model General Assembly in Richmond – and something a young man said to me just clicked. He said, “Ok, you’ve just prayed the sinner’s prayer and asked Jesus into your heart. God doesn’t lie. He said He’d save you – so believe it!” The light bulb came on. I finally got it – it was all about Him and not me trying and failing to be good enough. That was quite a few years ago and He’s worked a healing in my life that, frankly, at times I thought would never happen. He’s bigger than all of the stuff that comes against us!
