What is a Business Partner? 
A Business Partner is a business, non-profit organization or church that supports Spirit FM financially on a short or long-term basis.

What do I receive as a result of my support of Spirit FM?
Spirit FM Business Partners receive announcements on the radio as a result of their support. The number of announcements is dependant on the level of contribution and the length of the agreement. These benefits are available for non-profit organizations and commercial businesses alike. Business Partners agreeing to support Spirit FM for 6-months or longer receive space on the Underwriter section of this website, where we list contact information and provide a graphic link to the supporter's website, if applicable.

What's the main difference between supporting Spirit FM, a non-profit organization vs. a commercial radio station?
The wording of the announcements you receive as a result of your support. The FCC regulates what non-commercial radio stations can say about commercial businesses in their announcements. Over the years, we have become experts on how to write non-profit radio announcements that meet your marketing and ministry goals as well as ours. Tax-exempt, 501 (c) (3), non-profit organizations (churches, most ministries, etc.) have a different opportunity as it relates to supporting non-commercial radio. Non-profit announcements sound very much like what you might hear on a commercial radio station.

Do my Spirit FM Business Partner announcements work?
Yes. Radio listeners today (especially Spirit FM listeners!) are smart, well-informed people who, in most cases, don't have the time or inclination to sit through the same old sales pitches heard on other radio stations. They listen to Spirit FM specifically because we're different. Spirit FM offers Business Partners the opportunity to speak directly to one of the most loyal and dedicated groups of radio listeners on the planet…those who tune into Spirit FM. Additionally, as primarily a listener-supported radio ministry, Spirit FM patrons often seek out opportunities to support the organizations and businesses that support Spirit FM as another means of supporting the station they love.

PURPOSE: To honor God in all we do. By His grace, we use media technology to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Christian music and relevant programming to encourage a lifestyle of worship, fellowship, good works and spiritual growth.

Spirit FM is a Christian Music Station with dedicated listeners located in major markets throughout Virginia, West Virginia, and portions of North Carolina. When you support this station you enable us to broadcast the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a culturally relevant manner. 

We are effective. This has been evidenced by sold-out Christian music concerts, successful promotions, dynamic youth and children’s outreaches and more.

WHY IS THAT GOOD FOR BUSINESS?  As a listener-supported ministry, our loyal listeners tend to express their appreciation to the businesses that support this station. In a recent marketing survey, three quarters of Christians surveyed stated they would shop at a Christian-owned or -managed business first, if they knew it existed!

Spirit FM provides resources for the whole family through community events, on-air resources, and through supporting local ministries. 

COMMUNITY - Spirit FM fulfills it’s mission by playing upbeat Christian music 24/7 for the entire family with well known top artists like Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Mercy Me. Spirit FM also supports the community by regularly airing Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) promoting local events like concerts, church programs, and community activities at no cost to non-profit organizations. PSA’s are also listed at www.spiritfm.com. Routinely scheduling a presence at local events allows Spirit FM to come face to face with families in the community.

FAMILY - Spirit FM is informative, fun and encouraging for the whole family. We provide ministry for teens with programs like ZJam, and Dawson McAllister Live and promote a 24-hour “Hopeline” just for teens. We are a source of prayer through our on-line Listener Prayer Chain. We're helping families through projects like Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree, "Can the Van" with the Salvation Army, The World’s Largest Baby Shower, and American Scholar.

CHURCH - Spirit FM is committed to supporting families by supporting area ministries and leaders, helping to build up the faith of believers regardless of denomination. Spirit FM offers FREE listing on our web site  of ministry events and we encourage area leaders through events like the Extraordinary Women Conference, See You at the Pole rallies, and the VBS Express.

BUSINESS - A business partnership is a co-operative effort with benefit to both parties as we work toward the common goal of providing ministry and resources to area families in the community. Spirit FM takes pride in introducing our listeners to our Business Partners as quality businesses we know and trust.

One of the most effective ways for your business to support the ministry of Spirit FM is to become a Business Partner! As an official Spirit FM Business Partner, you are directly involved in helping us to cover the daily expenses of programming and station operations.

How much does it cost to become a Business Partner of Spirit FM? 
Spirit FM Business Partner packages are available to fit almost any budget. Supporting Spirit FM is a cost-effective way to market your product and/or service to a loyal group of radio listeners while supporting a ministry that focuses sharply on being a positive influence in the community.

Other Details: 
Sponsorships less than three months will receive 1 ROS acknowledgement per $30 contribution.

Spirit FM underwriting Payments are accepted via credit card, check, or cash. 
ADDITIONAL BONUS SPOTS are awarded for advance or credit card payments.- These rages are guaranteed for the length of the contract.

Spirit FM advertising statements are mailed at the end of each month. Payments accepted are credit card, check, or cash. ADDITIONAL 10% BONUS SPOTS awarded for advance or credit-card payments.
